Yeronga South Brisbane QFA Division 4 Coaching Expressions of Interest

The Yeronga South Brisbane Football Club is seeking Coaches for our Men’s QFA Division 4 team for the 2021 season.

The Yeronga South Brisbane Football Club has a proud 110-year club history as one of the oldest clubs still playing in Queensland. We have a strong commitment to making a positive contribution to the Yeronga and South Brisbane community. As a values-based organisation, we are seeking applications from coaches who subscribe the right person that will enable us to have sustained success both on and off the field.

It is desirable that the applicants have a Level 1 AFL coaching accreditation or willingness to obtain one. The club is happy to fund a Level 1 accreditation for the successful applicant. The following attributes and responsibilities are necessary for the position:

• Effective verbal communication • Demonstrated organizational skills • Has a good understanding of game day strategies and tactics • In conjunction with other coaches assist recruitment of players in consultation with the Club Executive • Develop and establish an appropriate pre- season training program • Instruct the players placed under their care generally and to see that all players carry out sufficient training • In conjunction with the senior club assist with junior development where possible and appropriate • Provide game day coaching expertise

Commitment required training once a week between December and August and play Friday night matches between April and August.

This a wonderful opportunity to continue or enter the coaching field and build experience as a football coach.
